Hello and Welcome to the 2010-2011 School year!!
This week we will be going over classroom procedures and expectations, meeting the teachers and getting to know the schedule. There are many papers that need to be signed and returned so get them in as soon as possible.
Once we get the ball rolling this is what we will be starting in class:
Math- We will be starting in chapter on Place Values and Fluency
Reading- We will be launching our first reading theme, Natures Fury!!! We will be reading Earthquake Terror and the students will have their first homework assignment of vocab deffinitions!!!
Science- We will be going over the importance of science saftey and making our science safety posters for the classroom. We will then begin our study of Ecosystems with Food Chains.
***PLEASE REMEMBER TO BRING IN EMPTY, CLEAR, CLEAN 2 LITER SODA BOTTLES!!!!!!
